Silambarasan Serves Biryani On Thug Life Sets To Celebrate Director Ashwath Marimuthu's Birthday

Actor Silambarasan TR, currently filming Thug Life with Kamal Haasan in Chennai under the direction of Mani Ratnam, recently exhibited a heartwarming gesture. He treated the film’s crew, fans, and director Ashwath Marimuthu to a lavish meal. A video capturing the actor serving food on set has gone viral online.

Silambarasan serves biryani on the sets of Thug Life

In the video, shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), Silambarasan is seen serving biryani to people seated at a long table, placing the dish on banana leaves. He appears joyful as he serves the meal to the rows of people waiting, clearly in a celebratory mood. Another fan mentioned that the biryani was brought from his home specifically for the crew and fans.

Ashwath expresses gratitude to STR

Silambarasan went a step further to celebrate director Ashwath Marimuthu’s birthday, sending biryani to him and his team, making the day even more special. Ashwath expressed his gratitude on X, sharing a picture of the team enjoying the meal and writing, “Thank you @SilambarasanTR_ for sending biryani to my team for my birthday, you are just too sweet.”

Silambarasan was initially set to work on a film with Ashwath, which has been postponed. Recently, when announcing a new film with Pradeep Ranganathan, the director clarified that this project was not the one planned with Silambarasan but a different story.

Silambarasan’s most recent film was Pathu Thala in 2023, a Tamil remake of the Kannada film Mufti. He is currently filming Thug Life and will soon begin working with director Desingh Periyasamy after completing his current project.
