Suriya 43: GV Prakash reveals details about his film with the Kanguva star

Suriya, who is busy with his upcoming film Kanguva, has another film in the lineup tentatively titled Suriya 43. Now, GV Prakash Kumar, the music composer-turned-actor opened up about the film and said that the script is going to be very "strong and unique". He also spilled the beans on the music of the film. Reuniting with Suriya and Sudha after Soorarai Pottru, Suriya 43 marks the 100th film as a composer.

GV Prakash says magic is happening

Speaking to Tamil media publication Vikatan, GV Prakash reveals details about Suriya 43 and said that when he and the director come together magic is bound to happen. He spilt the beans regarding the music of the film and said that the film’s songs he has composed up until now have come out very well.

Moreover, he also revealed that all the cast members including Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim and Vijay Varma's characters will have an "important role in the movie".

The film is touted to feature Suriya in a revolutionary role as a college student. Seemingly, it is inspired by the anti-Hindi imposition protests that took place in Tamil Nadu back in 1967. The protest was against the mandatory teaching of Hindi in schools.

The film marks the reunion of Suriya and his Soorarai Pottru director Sudha Kongara. It also marks the Tamil debut of Vijay Varma and the return of Nazriya to Tamil cinema after 2014's Thirumanam Enum Nikkah. Last month, the makers announced the film with a motion poster revealing just the eyes of Suriya. Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment is backing this project.
