Suriya, Disha Patani Kick Off Kanguva Hindi Promotions After Team Spends ₹20 Crore On Marketing

The upcoming pan-India film Kanguva is all set for its release in theatres on November 14, and the epic period action drama stars Suriya in the lead role. Directed by Siva, the film features Bobby Deol as the antagonist and Disha Patani as the female lead. With the release date approaching soon, the makers have kicked off promotions in style, choosing Mumbai as their first stop. The photos of their arrival are now going viral.

Kanguva promotions kick off in Mumbai

Suriya's upcoming pan-India film began its promotional activities a month ahead of its release. On 17th October, Suriya was seen in Mumbai alongside his co-star Disha Patani , marking their first promotional appearance together. Suriya kept his look simple, while Disha opted for a casual midi dress. The photos quickly went viral online.

With such a massive production, the promotional campaign is equally thrilling. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja planned the Hindi promotions, with exciting events across major cities in India. Bobby Deol is also expected to participate in a masterclass session with a well-known Bollywood media outlet.

Kanguva maker spend ₹20 crores for promotions

For Kanguva to succeed, it must perform well in the Hindi market. To bring the period action drama closer to Bollywood audiences, the team is reportedly investing over ₹20 crores in Hindi promotions.

This big release is set to hit more than 3,500 screens in North India, according to the producer. Unlike most PAN-Indian films from Tamil cinema, Kanguva’s Hindi version will be available in the three major national chains including PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Moreover, the film will only be available on OTT platforms eight weeks after its theatrical release.

Suriya is reportedly playing dual roles, promising great entertainment for his fans. With this, the film is already being hailed as one of the most expensive Indian films ever. Produced by Gnanavel Raja, with music by Devi Sri Prasad, Kanguva has been filmed in several locations across India, including Chennai, Goa , Kerala , and Rajahmundry.
