Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT is about to hit theatres on September 5. As the release of this ₹400 crore-budget film approaches, the internet has been buzzing with excitement. Recently, director Venkat Prabhu surprised fans of both cricket and south cinema by hinting at a cameo appearance by MS Dhoni in the film. If this happens, it would mark the cricketer's big screen debut.

Reports suggest that cricket legend MS Dhoni might appear in the Tamil film GOAT with his IPL team Chennai Super Kings. The speculation began after director Venkat Prabhu made a cryptic remark during an interview.

Prabhu seemingly gave a clue that GOAT will include a scene from a CSK match, with a hint at an exciting on-screen appearance by legendary MS Dhoni. “We are featuring a CSK match in a scene in the GOAT movie – you know who will make an appearance on the screen,” he said. This comment has led many to believe that MS Dhoni, who is a captain of the Chennai Super Kings, will indeed make an appearance during the CSK match scene. Although details about his roles are still unknown, fans are excited to see him on the big screen.


MS Dhoni is not new to the film industry

MS Dhoni is no stranger to the film industry. Beyond his cricketing prowess, he has ventured into cinema with his production company, Dhoni Entertainment. His possible role in GOAT has generated excitement, with fans keen to see how his character will interact with Vijay's character.
