Thalapthy Vijay is the basking in the success of his recent release GOAT which hit the screens on September 5 and has become one of the the highest-grossing Tamil films. Following the success, the makers have announced the final film Thalapathy 69 of the actor. Recently at a trailer launch event, filmmaker H Vinoth, who is reportedly onboard the project, spoke about what is necessary to make a good film.

H Vinoth’s thoughts on making a good film

In a video shared by the Thi Cinemas, filmmaker H Vinoth said, “According to myself, a good film isn’t something that is made on a big budget, has a big hero, or even something that becomes a great success at the box office. But a good film is what transforms a human into a better being.”

Production house announces Thalapathy Vijay’s last film

Recently, KVN Production announced Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69. They shared a video compilation of Vijay interacting with his fans over the years, alongside clips of fans talking about their connection to his films. KVN Productions confirmed that the official project announcement would be made on Saturday at 5 PM.

According to the report, Vijay will receive Rs 250 crore as remuneration for Thalapathy 69, which will be directed by H Vinoth. With this, Vijay will become one of the highest-paid actors in the country.

Thalapathy Vijay’s retirement from films

Thalapathy Vijay had issued a statement this year that he would retire from films and will begin his political career.

Vijay announced the launch of his party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, even as he expressed concern over the current political situation that was fraught with "administrative deterioration," corruption and "divisive politics," that impeded unity. Vijay would be the president of the party, which he said would face the 2026 Assembly polls. It would not support anybody in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
