As per media reports, despite the scare, the crew assured that all necessary permissions and safety measures were in place and no incidents were reported. This isn't the first time filmmakers have faced issues while shooting in public spaces. Previously, Dhanush’s Captain Miller crew was criticised for causing pollution in the Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, and the filming of Indian 2 was halted after a fatal accident that killed three crew members. More recently, Dhanush’s Kubera encountered problems for lacking proper shooting permissions in Tirupati.
