Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT: Thalapathy Vijay is all set for his upcoming release The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu who has helmed films including Mankath and Maanaadu, is collaborating once again with the Tamil superstar. In the latest development, the filmmaker has revealed key details about the film. 

Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu reveals plotline of the film

According to reports, in a media interaction, the director said, “The G.O.A.T is a fictional story, but we have tried to make it as close to reality as possible. It's about the SATS - Special Anti-Terrorist Squad - who work in collaboration with the RAW organization.”

He further added, “the film follows the challenges they face post an operation they were involved in the past. "At one point, some members of this group did something significant in their past, and now that very action has come back as a problem they have to face. The central theme of the movie is how they confront and overcome this challenge”.

Thalapathy Vijay’s de-aged look trolled

With recent song released by the makers, netizens criticised the actor’s de-aged look. Even the song and lyrics garnered trolls due to their dated nature. The song has been picturised between Meenakshi Chaudhary and Thalapathy Vijay. The makers used a single shot dance portion from the song in the lyrical video.

The Greatest of All Time will also feature actors Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for the movie and Siddhartha Nuni is the cinematographer.

Vijay, known for films such as Leo, Mersal, Master and Bigil, is set to make a full-time political entry after the release of The Greatest of All Time. It could be that Vijay will do another film after GOAT but its not confirmed right now.
