Venkat Prabhu's Brother Premgi Amaren Ties The Knot With Indu, Photos Go Viral

Premgi Amaren got married to Indu in a private wedding ceremony at the Murugan Temple in Thiruttani, Tamil Nadu, on June 9.

As promised Venkat Prabhu has shared the photos of his brother Premgi Amaren from his wedding to Indu. Premgi and Indu got married in a private ceremony on June 9 at the Murugan Temple in Thiruttani, Tamil Nadu. Later that day, Venkat Prabhu shared a set of two photos announcing their union.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the GOAT director shared photos in which Premgi can be seen in a traditional ensemble with a garland around his neck. Indu, on the other hand, looks pretty in a blue saree accessorised with gold jewellery. She is also wearing a garland around her neck. They both can be seen greeting everyone with folded hands. Sharing the photos, Venkat wrote, "Finallllllllllyyyyy!!!!!! Love u @premgi best wishes to the newlywed #InduPremgi."

Actress-fitness coach Ramya Subramanian also shared several photos from the wedding ceremony and congratulated the newlywed couple. For the ceremony, Premgi adorned a golden kurta paired with and creme coloured mundu. Indu looked pretty as a bride in a red saree. "The long-awaited day has come to an end. Singal Singha has decided. Happy Married Life," she wrote.

He started his career as a music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's assistant. In 2006, Premgi got his biggest break as he starred in Silambarasan TR's 2007 romantic drama Vallavan. Since then he has starred in movies such as Satham Podathey, Saroja, Goa and Custody. He was last seen in Sathiya Sothanai, co-starring Swayam Siddha with Reshma Pasupuleti. Next, he will be seen in his elder brother Venkat Prabhu's directorial The Greatest of All Time, starring Thalapathy Vijay.
