Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil are currently shooting for their upcoming film titled Vettaiyan. The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel. Recently, a video of the two actors have surfaced online wherein the two could be seen shooting for a sequence of the film in broad daylight.

Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil are currently shooting for Vettaiyan in Tirunelveli. However, a video of the two from the sets of the film has leaked online. In the short clip, Rajinikanth and Fahadh were seen engaging in a conversation with a group of locals alongside some officers standing in their police uniform. While Rajinikanth can be seen dressed in formals, Fahadh was seen standing in casual outfit with a sling bag.

Rajinikanth has been shooting for Vettaiyan for the past few months in Tirunelveli, Trivandrum, and Tuticorin (Thoothukudi). As per media reports, the shooting of the film was going on in Thoothukudi. Amid this, a photo of Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil from the sets went viral on social and in the photo the duo were seen discussing something while the crew held umbrellas for the two stars.

Rajinikanth is back in action after a brief hiatus, reprising his role in Vettaiyan, formerly known as Thalaivar 170. The film, which debuted with a captivating title teaser on Rajinikanth's birthday, teases a high-octane plot. Rajinikanth's role in the film, as a cop who opposes staged encounters, is set to have social significance.

The film, inspired by a true story, teases thought-provoking themes, demonstrating the actor's dedication to meaningful storytelling. Amitabh Bachchan makes his Tamil debut, joining Rajinikanth after 32 years, adding to the film's star-studded cast. Vettaiyan boasts a lineup featuring Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, GM Sundar, and Rakshan, while Anirudh Ravichander helms the music.
