Ankit Gupta is known to keep a low profile when it comes to his personal life. The television actor has in the past, been immensely linked with his Udaariyaan co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The actor has finally commented on the special bond he shares with her.

In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Ankit Gupta opened up on how important Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and his bond is to him. The two met on the sets of their rather successful television show Udaariyaan. The two have been repeatedly romantically linked over the years, owing to their strong chemistry and candor. However, despite all speculations, both Ankit and Priyanka have always maintained that they are just friends.

Ankit shared how even though they are no longer working together, their bond has just gotten better. Referring to their bond as special, he also expressed how glad he is that Priyanka is a part of his life. He said, "Bond with Priyanka has only gotten better. We have evolved. For any connection to prosper, efforts are required. I just hope, may no one's evil eye affect this bond. She is a wonderful person and I am glad that she's a part of my life."

Ankit Gupta has a message for #PriyanKit fans

Ankit Gupta also had something to say for the strong fan base of PriyanKit fans - the ship name allotted to their pairing. Ankit stated how though he and Priyanka are currently not working together, he still likes to keep their fanbase happy by occasionally sharing content with her. 

He said, "For all the #PriyanKit fans, I'd like to express my gratitude. It's so beautiful that people continue to like us so much. I make sure to treat them every once in a while with something related to PriyanKit. Our fans are lovely and we both adore the fandom a lot."
