Ankita Lokhande was recently spotted on the sets of a reality show. The Pavitra Rishta actress made heads turn with her choice of outfit. She donned a dual coloured, chiffon saree with bore similarities to one of the sarees previously worn by Alia Bhatt. 

Ankita Lokhande wears a saree similar to Alia Bhatt 

On June 11, Ankita Lokhande along with her husband Vicky Jain was spotted on a reality show set. The actress arrived on the set donning a multicoloured chiffon saree. She teamed the outfit with a matching sleeveless blouse and kept her tresses open for the day. 

The actress’ saree was the same as Alia Bhatt from when she was promoting her film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Bhatt donned the saree during the promotion of the film in July last year and teamed it with a deep blouse blouse. When the paparazzi pointed out the similarities between the outfits, Ankita appeared clueless about the connection. She asked in Marathi, “Really?”. Ankita’s reaction is now doing rounds on social media. 

When did Alia Bhatt wear the saree? 

On July 19, 2023, days before the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt along with her co-star from the film Ranveer Singh travelled to Delhi for the promotion of the film. The actress had opted for the dual-coloured saree at the time. Created by Manish Malhotra, Alia Bhatt donned the saree as a part of the method dressing for her character in the film Rani Chaterjee. 

Alia shared a series of photos from the event and wrote in the caption, “दिल वाली Delhi mai apni Kahaani lekar aaye hai Rocky aur Rani.” Alia teamed the look with a statement jhumka and kept her tresses open for the event. Her look from the promotions of the film had gone viral and many people tried to replicate the same at the time.
