Anupamaa: 'Aadhya' aka Aurra Bhatnagar To Quit Rupali Ganguly Starrer Post Leap: Report

Anupamaa is one of the most popular and longest-running Hindi television shows. Featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, it has consistently topped the TRP charts for several years. However, recently the show has been in the spotlight as key characters have quit. Along with Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma, Aurra Bhatnagar, who plays Aadhya, is also rumoured to exit the show, though this time it's due to the storyline's time leap rather than any dispute.

Aurra Bhatnagar aka Aadhya to quit Anupamaa due to ‘love angle’

According to India Forums, Aurra Bhatnagar aka Aadhya may not continue after the leap due to plans for a romantic storyline for her character. At 14, Aurra is not interested in pursuing such a role yet.

Aurra’s mother, Deepti, told the portal that they hadn't been informed about the leap. However, if it happens, they will only consider age-appropriate roles for her in the coming years. In the current storyline, Aadhya has reunited with Anupamaa and Anuj, while Vanraj Shah’s suicide note has left both the Shah and Kapadia families in shock.

All actors to quit Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa?

Recent reports also indicate that the daily soap is set for another major leap, bringing significant changes. Previously, the show jumped forward a few months, with Anuj and Anupamaa moving to Asha Bhawan, followed by the Shah family. Now, with a leap of 10–15 years, the makers are reportedly planning a completely new storyline, featuring Rupali and Gaurav in lead roles, while other cast members are expected to exit the show.

Actors rumoured to leave include Nidhi Shah, Kunwar Amar Singh, Gaurav Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, and Aurra Bhatnagar, most of whom have been part of the show since its inception. Neither the producers nor the cast have commented on the rumours yet.
