Anupamaa: Nishi Saxena Bids Adieu To Rupali Ganguly's Show, Pens An Emotional Note

Rupali Ganguly starrer popular television show Anupamaa has managed to keep everyone hooked to the screens with its interesting storyline. The show was started in 2020 and has more than 1500 episodes so far. The show is all geared up for a major leap ahead. Ahead of this, Nishi Saxena aka Dimple has quit the show.

Nishi Saxena quits Anupamaa

After Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Chandani Bhagwanani and Nidhi Sadh, Nishi Saxena is the latest to exit the show. Nishi Saxena penned an emotional note while reflecting on her journey as Dimpy. After two years of joining the show, she said goodbye to Anupamaa. She wrote, “"After two incredible years, it’s time to say goodbye to Dimple. This journey has been nothing short of life-changing. From playing multiple roles in one character to growing both as an actor and a person, I’ve learned so much along the way. This is my first big break, and I am immensely grateful for every moment. I want to thank the fantastic producer @rajan.shahi.543 @directorskutproduction @starplus and the entire crew for believing in me and making this possible”

She further wrote, ““Working on India’s number one TV show was almost a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From being a fan of the show to really being a part of it, I believe manifesting truly worked out. A big thanks to the editor @vintxqetv for brilliantly portraying Dimple’s journey in this video—it truly brought all of the emotions alive. Dimple will always hold a special place in my heart. On to new adventures, but this one will forever be loved”, she concluded.

Anupamaa to take a major leap?

With a leap of 10–15 years, the makers are reportedly planning a completely new storyline of Anupamaa, featuring Rupali and Gaurav in lead roles, while other cast members are expected to exit the show. 

Actors rumoured to leave include Nidhi Shah, Kunwar Amar Singh, Gaurav Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, and Aurra Bhatnagar, most of whom have been part of the show since its inception. Neither the producers  nor the cast have commented on the rumours yet.
