Bigg Boss 18: When Is Show Starting? Know About The Theme, Confirmed Contestants

Bigg Boss 18: Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss is all set to be back to small screens with season 18. With several rumoured announcements of contestants, fans are eager for the show. More so, the TV show has been a platform for many artists to get a career boost over the years. 

From when will Bigg Boss 18 start? 

The makers recently announced Bigg Boss Season 18 with an exciting promo, discussions have started around its grand premiere, contestants and theme this year. Along with the promo, the caption read, “Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein Time Ka Taandav chaayega! Dekhiye #BiggBoss18, Grand Premier 6 October raat 9 baje, sirf #Colors aur @officialjiocinema par”.

Bigg Boss 18's theme is Time ka Tandav and will go on air on October 6 at 9 PM on Colors TV.

Who is coming for Bigg Boss 18?

As per Bigg Boss Tak, an X page, eleven contestants have been finalised who will be entering the house on October 6. They are Nia Sharma, Ibrahim, Nyrraa Banerji, Meera Deosthale, Sayli Salunkhe, Avinash Mishra, Debchandrima Singha Roy, Chaahat Pandey, Shilpa Shirodkar and Shanti Priya. 

Apart from the above-mentioned contestants, makers are currently pursuing and negotiating terms with the following contestants for Bigg Boss 18 - Rithvik Dhanjani, Shehzada Dhami, Karan Veer Mehra, Zaan Khan and Karam Rajpal. However, the confirmed contestants will only be revealed on the premier of the reality show 

It is being reported that Dheeraj Dhoopar is planning to opt out of the show probably the makers didn't agree with his demands. Isha Koppikar was also approached by the makers and she had reportedly agreed to participate, but now she changed her mind and backed out from the show.

Who is the highest-paid contestant for Bigg Boss 18?

According to several reports, TV actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, who is best known for his shows like Sasural Simar Ka and Kumkum Bhagya, is one of the highest-paid contestants. Reportedly he has been offered ₹5 crore for his stint on the show. It is speculated to be 900% more than the show’s winning prize amount, which is reportedly ₹50 lakh.
