Did Asim Riaz Insult KKK Host Rohit Shetty? Netizens Divided Over BB13 Finalist's 'Cocky' Behaviour

Khatrona Ke Khiladi is back with the 14th season, and in the second episode, it was shown host Rohit Shetty expelled Asim Riaz for allegedly disrespecting him, other participants and the team of the show. Now, this has created a heavy buzz on the Internet with netizens being divided over Asim's behaviour.  A section of the Internet is extending support to Asim Riaz and slamming Abhishek Kumar for poking the Bigg Boss 13 finalist.

Why did Rohit Shetty expel Asim Riaz from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14?

Rohit Shetty had named three contestants - Aashish Mehrotra, Niyati Fatnani, and Asim Riaz  - to perform an aerial stunt where they had to remove flags from the hanging plank while positioned on a seesaw. While Aashish and Niyati were able to complete the stunt, Asim struggled to remove the first flag despite Rohit's instructions.

This didn't go down well with Asim and he challenged the makers saying, "Do it in front of me. I won't take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won't take a rupee, camera is on." When he returned, the host asked him the reason for being unable to perform the stunt, to this, Asim explained that he was unable to balance. Then Rohit showed a rehearsal, in which a team member can be seen performing. On watching this, Asim stated, "Sir, I tried and it's okay. I am very chill and sorted in my life. I am here to perform the stunts. If it happens then okay, I'll do my best. I don't want to defeat anyone. In my interviews also I have said..."

Rohit interrupted him and asked, "Asim, what is your problem?" He added, "Kal bhi tune bohot bakwaas ki." Asim tried to explain but Rohit lost his calm and warned him to behave. Asim tried to approach Rohit but he asked him to go to his spot. During this, Abhishek Kumar also asked him to go back. Abhishek's intervention didn't go down well with Asim and yelled, pointing a finger at him.

While the two were having a verbal spat, Rohit asked the other contestant to stand not say anything. Later, it was shown that Rohit had expelled Asim and said, "I wish him all the luck but now he can't continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success."

Netizens' reaction to the whole situation

Asim Riaz enjoys a huge fan following on the Internet thanks to his performance at Bigg Boss 13. Soon after, the episode was released, Asim's fans shared the clip where he and Abhishek can be seen engaging in a verbal spat while Rohit in the background is the other participants to keep quiet. A fan shared a clip and wrote in Asim's support, “Clearly we can see #RohitShetty sir poking him and saying tu kal bahot bakwas kar raha tha idhar aa Rohit ko laga ye dar jayega Bhai wo #AsimRiaz koi colors tv ka poltu nahi. WE ARE WITH YOU ASIM.”

Another user wrote, "Abee yeh rohit shetty hai kaun . Iska time khatam hogaya. His last movie was a flop and just gathering superstas coz he can't create a solo lead film . Nd talking to asim . #AsimRiaz has more fame than rohit shetty, come on we all know #KhatronKeKhiladi14." Another wrote, "Chinta mt kar bhai tu bhi yahi hai mai bhi isko iski aukat pta chal jayegi ego itna talent ke naam par ldna aata hai".

However, some netizens slammed Asim for his behaviour, especially with Rohit Shetty. A user wrote, "And he is Rohit shetty .. Asim thinks uskibwajah se sb chl rha Hai... lol." Another called him "Egoistic Asim". Another hailed Colors TV's decision, "Asim ko Nikal ke toh bilkul bahut sahi kiya colors ne." Another wrote, "Defend Karne ki bhi had hoti hai .. Kuch bhi.. Hame dekh kar toh kuch nahi laga jyada bullying.. sab Malak main tha .. why itna hyper .. is like spoil kid .. Itna hi attitude hai  .. toh perform aisa karta ki sabke muh band hote .. #AsimRiaz was nalla & will always be nalla."

Asim rose to fame owing to his performance in Bigg Boss 13 and his friendship with Siddharth Shukla in the reality-based show.
