Dipika Kakar lost her identity after marriage with Shoaib Ibrahim, says Falaq Naaz

Falaq Naaz spoke about the broken bond between her and her former Saural Simar Ka co-star Dipika Kakar. They were once best friends, akin to sisters, but over time, they drifted apart. Suddenly, their friendship ended. Now, Falaq revealed where her bond with Dipika went sour and where their relationship stands now.

Falaq Naaz on how Dipika Kakar changed after marriage

Dipika and Falaq worked on a daily soap since 2011 and continued to for several years. They were the best of pals during those days but drifted apart with time. Falaq said that Dipika lost her identity after marriage to Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018. Post their wedding, Dipika has not worked in TV shows. The couple recently welcomed their first child. "I also asked her if she had problems losing her identity, but she said that she is happy and there is nothing like that, and if she is happy I am happy," she told TellyChakkar.

Falaq Naaz details her fallout with Dipika Kakar

Falaq Naaz shared that she was hurt when Dipika Kakar didn't reach out to her during the toughest phase in her and her family's life. She said it was the time when her brother Sheezan was in jail. He was incarcerated last year for abetting the suicide of his Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul co-star Tunisha Sharma.

Despite being close in the past, she said that when Dipika did not reach out to her or her family, she was disappointed and hurt. She further shared that she expected at least occasional communication from Dipika, as they were once deeply attached to each other. However, she added that their bond seemed to have faded without any specific fight or disagreement between them. Despite the ups and downs, Falaq expressed her wish for things to be better between her and Dipika. 

She said that she understood the responsibilities that come with marriage and family but couldn't comprehend how they couldn't find time to meet or message each other, at least once in a few months.
