Hina Khan, Battling Breast Cancer, Finds Motivation In Her 'Last Standing Eyelash'

Hina Khan is battling third-stage breast cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy sessions. She often shares her struggle with the disease on social media.  Hina in a recent post shared an image of hers and penned a long note in which she talked about strength.

Hina Khan ’s current source of motivation?

Taking to her Instagram, Hina Khan shared a closeup picture of her brown eyes. The image showed how the actress had lost almost all of her original eyelashes. She wrote, “Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation? Once part of a mighty and beautiful Brigade that adorned my eyes. My Genetically long and beautiful lashes.. This BRAVE , LONE WARRIOR my last standing Eyelash has fought it all beside me. Nearing the last cycle of my Chemo, this single Eyelash is my MOTIVATION. We shall see this all through.”

She further continued, “Yes we will InshaAllah. P.S – Haven’t worn falsies in a decade, actually more, but now I do, for my shoots. Koi naaaaa.. sab theek ho jaana hai… DUA.” The post has gone viral on social media and fans took to the comments to pour in their love for the actor. Apart from fans, celebrities also commented on the post. Juhi Parmar said, “Beautiful girl with a brave beautiful heart.” 

Hina Khan on fulfilling her work commitment despite her battle with cancer

Hina Khan took to her Instagram account to share a video of herself from an event. The actress shared the video along with a long caption detailing her struggle with ‘crippling pain' caused as a side effect of cancer treatment. She mentioned being resilient despite being in pain and showing up for the commitment despite being in two minds to cancel.

Hina said that she had to fulfil a work commitment despite being in terrible pain due to the side effects of the treatments. Nevertheless, the actress braved the pain and showed up.
