Jennifer Winget Wanted To Be A Housewife After Marriage With Karan Singh Grover, Says 'Many Questioned My Decision But...'

Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover's relationship and eventual short-lived marriage have been a source of speculation for many. The two TV stars met on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye and fell in love. Karan was then married to Shraddha Nigam, with whom he tied the knot in 2008. Reportedly, Karan's divorce with Shraddha happened due to his affair with Jennifer.

After his first marriage fell apart, Karan quickly moved on with Jennifer. Fans shipped them together and they became one of the most popular TV couples. Karan and Jennifer married in 2012, but filed for divorce after 10 months, leading to speculation about Karan's infidelity. After his second divorce, Karan married Bipasha Basu in 2016 and the couple now shares a daughter, named Devi.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Jennifer revealed that she was willing to sacrifice her career for the sake of her married life. Despite her efforts and willingness to be a "housewife", the Beyhadh actress' relationship with Karan fell apart.

“There were so many noises around me. There were so many voices in my head. Let’s not go there. That decision of mine everybody questioned- including my parents. And I just didn’t listen to them. So, I anyways wanted to become a housewife, right? At that point if I wasn’t getting any work, I was okay with it,” the Kahin Toh Hoga star said.

Years after her divorce, Jennifer was romantically linked with her Code M co-star Tanuj Virwani. However, speculations continue over whether they dated or not. After his marriage with Tanya Jacob in 2023, Tanuj talked about his rumoured relationship with Jennifer, saying, "Me and Jennifer still talk to each other and we still have a cordial relationship. By confirming or denying this relationship, I feel it would be a big disservice to my wife. I will always maintain that Jennifer is a very special part of my life."
