MTV Ace of Space 2: What is Pearl up to with the black cap affair?

After the success of MTV Ace of Space season 1, Vikas Gupta decided to spearhead a second season. The basic plot of the show revolves around 18 players who have to fight for their space in the house and win the audience’s hearts to stay in the game. The MTV Ace of Space 2 premiered on August 24, 2019. Vikas Gupta is playing the mastermind for this season. This season, the players are divided into two teams – Team Kings and Team Jacks. The Kings enjoy all the luxuries of the space whereas the Jacks have to fight even for the basic necessities.  

Here is a quick recap of episode 38 

The new houseguest, Pearl Almeida, had a special power in the episode. She was given a black cap which was a direct ticket to the semi-finals for the house members. But there was a twist, in exchange for accepting the cap, the players had to nominate one houseguest who would be replaced with Pearl. While the players were told only two members could get the cap, Pearl offered the cap to multiple house guests. The members were told not to disclose the situation at all. While the rest accepted it, Salman refused to give in to the temptation.

After the nomination frenzy, the players were all asked to return to the main room. Pearl finally became a permanent guest in the house. While the players were betrayed with the whole cap situation, none of the other players got the ticket to the semi-final but the member who was nominated to be replaced by most of the contestants, Deepak, got the black cap. Due to Salman’s choice, he was given two powers, one- to save someone from being eliminated and two- to fix someone in the nomination zone for the elimination.

While he saved Krissann first, Pearl also had the chance to save one member and she chose to save Nikita. Salman fixed Khushali in the nomination zone while Baseer was saved by his friends and fans. With Khushali, Ohm and Rashmi in the final elimination, Ohm was eliminated from the game. Shocked by this, a lot of the members got emotional. Ohm's beau, Rashmi, failed to handle the situation completely and broke down.
