Niharika Chouksey opens up on Faltu ending abruptly: It’s unfair and we can see...

Niharika Chouksey recently starred in the television show Faltu with Aakash Ahuja. Even after ranking on the TRP charts, the it was dropped by the channel. The show was replaced by Mohit Malik, Sayli Salunkhe starrer Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. Niharika has now reacted to the incident.

Niharika Chouksey calls out unfair treatment 

In a conversation with India Forums, Niharika spoke about the the channel's decision to end Faltu pre-maturely and expressed her displeasure with it. She said, “It has been unfair on us and we can see it but it is fine. After receiving an extension there was a ray of hope left with the fans and star cast being equally delighted. However, even the extension was to an extent so everything happens for good.’’ 

When asked about her reaction to the show ending all of a suddent, the actress said that it was quite discouraging because they weren’t ready for it as Faltu’s rating was up there. The channel, however, made the call, and she respects that.

Niharika Chouksey on Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si replacing Faltu

Niharika also addressed the issue of Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si replacing their show. The actress stated she doesn’t feel like it got an unfair advantage over them. The production house that made that show has also given her a chance to work in past. “They have been in the industry for a long time giving hit shows so it would not be an advantage as they deserve it. The only disadvantage was that our producer was new,’’ added Niharika. 

Faltu made its debut on November 2, 2022. In it, Niharika plays the titular role. The recent episodes of the show focuse on her  and her husband Ayaan's divorce proceedings. The last episode of Faltu is expected to air on August 21, but no formal announcement has yet been made yet.
