Pankhuri Awasthy returns to work 

On Saturday (Sept 9), Pankhuri Awasthy took to her Instagram handle to share a video documenting her return to work after nine months. In the video, she gave a glimpse of her preparation process as she got ready for the shoot. The actress expressed her feelings about this significant moment. She wrote, "Shooting after almost 9 months... had to make a reel to remember this day... because honestly, it’s a different feeling this time."

In her heartfelt note, Pankhuri shared her postpartum experience, stating that it takes time to feel like oneself again. She talked about the changes in her body, energy levels, and the gradual transition back to her previous weight and size. She said that the journey made her question many aspects of her life. "Postpartum.. it really takes a while to feel like yourself again... your older self seems like it was from a different reality.. one which feels unachievable now (although it is)," she wrote. 

'Acting is my first love'

Pankhuri Awasthy opened up about the worries of being a new mother, particularly when she has to be away from her babies for work. She wondered if she was doing enough for her children and expressed concerns about leaving them to pursue her career. The actress credited her husband Gautam Rode and her mother as her pillars of support who helped her navigate the challenges of motherhood and her return to work.

"And then the feeling that tops it all is whether I’m doing enough for the babies.. are they fed well.. what’s right what’s wrong.. can I leave them and go to work.. will I be able to do that..," she penned. 

Pankhuri further said that acting is her first love and expressed her happiness at being able to resume her acting career. She added that the presence of her twins made every challenge worthwhile.
