Ram Kapoor, who will be next seen in Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Yudhra, shared that he is enjoying his time working in the OTT and movie world.
Ram Kapoor shot to fame after featuring in the hit TV show Kasamh Se, and since then there has been no going back for the actor. He has gained success not just in TV but also in the movie and OTT world. The actor was last seen in TV show Tamanna (2016) which went off air a few months later. Since then he has stayed away from the TV world and working for the OTT shows. When asked about his return to the small screen, the actor replied that he is "enjoying" doing work where he gets to be part of different shows rather than being stuck to one for 3-4 years.
Does Ram Kapoor want to return to the TV industry?
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ram was asked whether he has any plans to return to TV. To this, the actor replied, "At the moment no". The actor said he was lucky to do successful TV shows that lasted three or four years. However, if you want to do well in the TV industry and want to have successful shows, then you get stuck doing the same for 3-4 years.
Why does Ram Kapoor not want to return to the TV industry?
The actor is seemingly happy with doing OTT and movie projects that are different from each other. "But now, since I have been accepted as a good and strong actor in OTT and in films, I am getting a wide variety of roles every year. I am doing several different projects that are so different from each other, so now, going back to one role for years is something that I cannot even imagine doing," the actor continued.
The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor is "enjoying" a space where everyone's project is completely different from others, owing to which his return to the TV industry is "very difficult.
What's next for Ram Kapoor?
Ram has been part of several successful movies, like Udaan, Student of the Year, The Big Bull and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. Now, the actor is gearing up for the release of Yudhra, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal in the lead roles. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, the movie is slated to hit the theatres on September 20.
