Animal producer Pranay says there are people in Bollywood who want to see Sandeep Reddy Vanga fail

The Vanga brothers - Sandeep and Pranay are currently basking in the stellar success of their latest cinematic outing, Animal. The film's polarising audience response has had no negative bearing on its box office numbers. Having released in early December, the Ranbir Kapoor led family saga has minted ₹ 644.5 crores domestically with its worldwide gross coming in at ₹ 885 crores. Amid the film's success, producer Pranay Reddy Vanga has some explosive claims to make about his brother's detractors.

Pranay Reddy Vanga says there are many who want to see his brother fail

Pranay Reddy Vanga is currently enjoying the undisputed success his venture as a co-producer, Animal, is garnering. However, the film itself experienced a road bump during the initial days of its filming when the Vanga brothers decided to move on from producer Murad Khetani - who was initially producing the film - in lieu of joining hands with T-Series. Acknowledging the polarising reactions his brother Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his films tend to create, Pranay made a strong statement asserting that there were many who were waiting for his brother to fail.

As per an Amar Ujala report, a translation of Pranay's stance reads, 'There are some people who do not, at any cost, want to see my brother Sandeep succeed and reach the heights of Hindi cinema. (They) have someone with them who wants to see Sandeep trip and fall.'

What is next for Sandeep Reddy Vanga?

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently in the midst of scripting for his next project - Spirit. The film, which will star Prabhas, will be going on floors in September of 2024 owing to the actor's packed schedule, filming for Kannappa and Raja Deluxe. The director will reportedly be getting Harshvardhan Rameshwar on board as music director for the project. Besides this, Vanga also has sequel to Animal, Animal Park in the works, the premise for which was elaborately laid out in the post-credits scene for the former.
