Devara Box Office Collection Day 1: Jr NTR Starrer Looking At Mammoth Opening In India, Overseas

Devara Box Office Collection: Jr NTR is gearing up for the release of his pan-India film alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Devara is the Telugu star's first solo release after six years and his next film after RRR. His last released film as a leading man was 2018 Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and now all eyes are on Koratala Siva directorial set to hit the big screens on September 27.

According to the trade buzz, the film is poised for a huge start at the Indian box office and overseas.

Devara pre-sales looking promising

According to the makers, Devara is set to be Jr NTR's biggest solo opener since Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava. Post this RRR came in 2022, which not only shattered box office collections but also emerged as the actor's biggest grosser. Now, Devara has huge anticipation riding on it.

According to the makers, the film has done over $2 million in pre-sale in North America with still three days left for the film's theatrical debut. The numbers could reach up to $5 million overseas, which is approximately (₹42 crore gross). In India, the advance bookings for the film opened on Monday and is receiving a positive response. A report in Scanilk stated, "Currently, the total opening day pre-sales of the movie at the domestic market is around 10 crore gross (including block seats) with still more than 2 days left for the shows to begin."

Jr NTR to reach Prabhas ' level

If Devara manages to score ₹100 crore opening worldwide, then he will be the second Telugu actor to achieve this milestone after Prabhas . The Kalki 2898 AD star has multiple films that grossed over ₹100 crore on their opening day.
