Devara Release Sets Off Fanfare: Jr NTR-Janhvi Kapoor Fans Burst Crackers, Take To Streets | WATCH

Devara Part 1: The much-awaited Telugu movie starring superstar Jr NTR has hit the big screens today, September 27. The two-part movie marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist in the show. The rest of the cast includes Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Shruti Marathe, and Kalaiarasan among others. As Koratala Siva's directorial action thriller hit the big screens, it received a massive fanfare welcome during its early morning shows.

Devara Part: 1 gets massive response from netizens 

The Jr NTR movie was released today, and his fans went all out to give their favourite superstar a warm welcome for his new release which also marks his first film in years, following the success of RRR. Early morning shows took place, particularly in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where fans turned the release into a festive occasion. Many clips and photos showcase the incredible excitement surrounding Devara, and they are going viral. As shown in the videos, many locations displayed large cutouts of Jr NTR, which were decorated with garlands, some of which completely covered the actor's character image. 

In several pictures and videos, fans are seen cleaning and worshipping a massive 50-foot cutout of Jr NTR in one of his Devara avatars. One viral clip showed fans performing Paal Abhishekam, a ritual involving bathing a deity with milk, on JR NTR's massive poster just before the film's first show. 

Another video captured a fan setting off firecrackers in celebration. 

At Sudarshan Theatre, a gathering of Jr NTR supporters danced and cheered, holding large posters of him and throwing coloured powder as they expressed their joy for their beloved actor. 

Netizens shared the first Devara review

Fans who attended the early screenings of the Jr NTR film took to social media to praise Devara. Many users hailed the film as a ‘blockbuster’ and specifically highlighted Jr NTR's performance. Saif Ali Khan also received acclaim for his acting skills from netizens.

One X user commented, "Full meals full packed first half with lots of action and drama Anirudh and #JrNTR are the main pillars for the movie." Another added, "#Devara The visuals, the action, the performances... everything is on top #JrNTR absolutely delivers a powerful perform." A fan declared, “#Devara: BLOCKBUSTER. aJr NTR and Anirudh anchor this mass action entertainer.”

Additionally, the movie is part of a duology and has been filmed in Hyderabad, Shamshabad, Visakhapatnam, and various locations in Goa and Thailand.
