Eagle: Makers of Ravi Teja starrer drop new poster on the New Year

Amid the upcoming Makar Sankranti season in 2024, the Telugu film industry is gearing up for a clash of titans with multiple big-budget releases. Notable among them are Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh Daggubati's Saindhav, Nagarjuna Akkineni's Naa Saami Ranga and Ravi Teja's highly anticipated film, Eagle.

As the buzz around these releases intensifies, the makers of Eagle have dropped a new poster of the movie to celebrate the New Year 2024.

The Eagle teaser was released recently

Ahead of its grand release on January 13, 2024, makers of Eagle dropped a 94-second teaser that kicked off with a gripping scene of bodies scattered on the ground. It was accompanied by Ravi Teja's commanding voice cautioning, "Do not ask for the lava from the volcano to descend; it will wipe out not only this village but also your existence."

The teaser also reveals the mysterious identity of the eagle which has raised questions about whether it's a real entity or just a myth. Defined as residing in the forest, moving like a shadow, and pervading every place without being visible, the eagle adds an element of intrigue to the narrative.

In the final moments of the teaser, fans get a glimpse of Ravi Teja wearing an ash lungi and a green kurta, wielding machine guns in both hands. With the words "Bon Voyage," he aims at his rivals and sets the stage for action-packed visuals.

Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni, Eagle also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo and Kavya Thapar. Gattamneni, who also penned the film alongside Manibabu Karanam is also the movie’s cinematographer and editor. The film is being bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner.

Ravi Teja was last seen in Vamsee's Tiger Nageswara Rao and is now eager to make a mark with Eagle after his previous venture struggled at the box office.
