Makar Sankranti 2024 is going to be a massive affair for Indian cinema. Five of the biggest movies from down south are clashing at the box office. This includes Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh's Saindhav, Prashanth Varma's HanuMan, Ravi Teja's Eagle and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga.

The producers of Eagle are firm on releasing Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's movie on Sankranthi and they question why they should change the date for Saindhav and Naa Saami Ranga. Despite efforts by the producer council to mediate Sankranthi releases, no agreement has been reached. The HanuMan team, scheduled for a release on the 12th in all languages, cannot alter their plans due to prior agreements.

In response, the council urged the Eagle team to delay their film but Eagle Producers questioned this request and wondered why Saindhav which was initially set for Christmas got rescheduled for Sankranthi after Salaar's postponement. In a word to track Bollywood, Eagle's producers stand by their January 13th release date mentioning that they announced it first and why Saindhav wasn't asked to change.

Regarding Naa Saami Ranga, Eagle Producers maintain their decision and said that they haven't officially announced a release date and want to challenge the council's suggestion to postpone Nagarjuna's film saying there’s a lack of an official date for Naa Saami Ranga.

Eagle's makers assert that their January 13th announcement predates others, making it a solo release plan. They argue that Saindhav announced its date later, indicating a deliberate move to coincide.
