Guntur Kaaram: Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela starrer film to not release on Pongal?

Guntur Kaaram is one of the most anticipated films of actor Mahesh Babu. The film also stars actress Sreeleela in the lead role, marking the first collaboration between the two stars. The film is slated for a Pongal release along with other Telugu and Tamil biggies. However, now it seems like the film might see a change in its release date as the shoot for the film remains incomplete.

Guntur Kaaram shoot is yet to be completed

According to a report in 123Telugu, the Mahesh Babu-Sreeleela film, directed by Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo famed filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas is yet to complete its shoot. The makers are currently shooting the left-out scenes at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Reportedly, Trivikram is currently canning the scenes related to Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela.

What more do we know about Guntur Kaaram?

With the shoot still incomplete, it is reported that the makers of the film are racing against time and are under pressure. The makers, however, to keep the fans calm have released songs from the film ahead of its release. Thaman S has scored the music for the action thriller Telugu film. Apart from Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela, the film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary.

Meanwhile, the expectations from the films are high as Trivikram is known for giving superhit films. His last film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo with Pushpa star Allu Arjun was a massive hit. It was released alongside Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru on Pongal 2020. Both the films went on to earn over ₹250 crore worldwide at the box office.
