Pongal 2024 is going to see one of the biggest box office clashes of all times with five major films scheduled to release during that week. Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, Ravi Teja's Eagle, Venkatesh Daggubati's Saindhav, Nagarjuna starrer Naa Saami Ranga and Teja Sajja's Hanu Man. Now the buzz is that the films with bigger heroes are reportedly pressurising makers of Hanu Man to move its release date.

Hanu Man to delay its release to make way for big hero films?

According to a report in Gulte.com, due to lack of theaters for each film releasing from the 11th to 14th of January, producers now fear that the clash will affect each other's business. To gain more number of theaters and screenings, the producers of other scheduled films are reportedly asking the makers of Hanu Man to leave the race and push their dates.

While Mythri Productions is responsible for the distribution of Venkatesh's Daggubati, Sajja's Hanu Man. Dil Raju is backing Guntur Kaaram and People Media is behind Ravi Teja's Eagle. Meanwhile Naa Saami Ranga is backed by Nagarajuna's home banner Annapurna.

What film is releasing when during Pongal?

Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram and Teja Sajja's Hanu Man is set to release on January 12. Reportedly, it was the makers of Hanu Man who had first announced the release date. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja's Eagle and Venkatesh's Saindhav are scheduled for the 13th and Naa Saami Ranga for the 14th. While four of the five films stars established big names from the Telugu industry, Teja Sajja's film solely depends on its storyline and making of the film, which will make or break Teja Sajja's fame.
