The second week of January 2024, marking the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi, will be one of the busiest week at the movies for Telugu industry as well as audience. With big stars like Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna Akkineni gearing up for their next big releases Guntur Kaaram and Naa Saami Ranga respectively , and many other releases like HanuMan slated to release the same week, there was a lot of chatter and speculation about the division of screens among these films.

This festive season at most affordable prices, HanuMan actor posted

It was also being rumoured that the makers of HanuMan were being coerced to pull out of the box office clash, in order to avoid a situation of limited screens and eventually underwhelming performance at the box office. However, the film’s leading man Teja Sajja has now put all rumours to rest with his latest social media post. In the said post, Teja Sajja quote-tweeted a marketing firm that was advertising the under-priced tickets for HanuMan’s release on January 12, adding the message, “This festive season at most affordable prices for you.”

HanuMan trailer was released last week

Prasanth Verma and Teja Sajja had previously collaborated on films like Adbhutam and the high-concept movie Zombie Reddy. Besides Teja Sajja, HanuMan also stars popular actors like Amritha Iyer, Vennela Kishore and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.  Earlier this month, Teja Sajja also made headlines for his comment on different treatment meted out to star kids as composed to outsiders, when asked if the actor felt confident enough to carry such a big-scale film on his shoulders.

The makers had earlier released the teaser for their film in November last year. Teja Sajja, in his teaser post, had added the caption, “I hope the "action" speaks louder than words. I’ll let the teaser do the talking.  Modest yet Mighty! Jai Shree Ram.” The teaser unveiling was followed by the release of many posters, the last of which was released in September this year.
