Mohanlal, 61, is one of India’s highest-paid actors and has accumulated wealth surpassing many Bollywood celebrities. Despite his stature, Mohanlal remains a man of simplicity, and his home reflects his love for aesthetics and nature.

Mohanlal’s house  has modern wooden interiors

Mohanlal lives with his wife, daughter, and mother in their home in Kochi, Kerala. His dream house in Thevara is painted in various colours, enhanced by blooming Arali trees (Nerium Oleander). The actor has a keen eye for aesthetics, combining sophistication with sensitivity.

The residence features trees, aquariums, antiques, and paintings, reflecting Mohanlal's refined taste. He also owns several homes in different locations, each showcasing his distinctive style.

Wood plays an important role in his home. The entry has a large wooden door, leading through a verandah that connects the greenery to the house. A striking sculpture stands in the middle of the verandah. During festivals, Mohanlal and his family create rangoli designs and light candles.

Mohanlal’s house has an exquisite aquarium collection and a pool

Mohanlal’s home showcases several water elements, including an aquarium filled with live, colourful fish. Expertly maintained with technology from Singapore, the water remains crystal clear. Another aquarium, topped with glass, displays unique fishes that seem to be in their natural sea environment.

Near the verandah, there is a uniquely shaped outdoor swimming pool, gracefully nestled between two Jamun trees.

The house reflects Mohanlal’s passion for antiques and paintings. During his travels abroad, he eagerly collects antique items. In his living room, a large painting of a horse pairs beautifully with a light-toned sofa, creating a perfect spot for family gatherings. One room is dedicated to displaying his global antique collection. The staircase leads to the first floor, where guest and children’s rooms are located.
