Jr NTR starrer Devara is bigger than Game Of Thrones, claims producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram

After RRR, Devara has been one of the most anticipated films of Jr NTR. The buzz around the film has been since its annoucements. Eventually, the film's posters released featuring Jr NTR, bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, which took the internet by storm. It was then revealed that the film is going to be a period drama, which increased the curiosity among fans. Now, at a recent event, the producer of the film Nandamuri Kalyan Ram claimed that Devara is bigger than the Hollywood series Game Of Thrones. The video is now going viral on social media.

Kalyan Ram claims Devara is bigger than GoT

In one of the promotional events of the Telugu film Devil, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles, the actor who is also the producer of Devara spoke about the film. During the media interaction, Kalyan Ram also talked about the underwater sequence in the film, which he claimed will be seen for the first time in the Indian cinema.

He said, "We have executed an underwater sequence that was never before done in Indian cinema If someone compares Devara with Game of Thrones, I feel this is more than that. I don't care about other comments because Devara is Devara."

He added, "The movie unfolds during the 1900s period. After catching a glimpse, you will understand why Koratala Siva is supported, irrespective of the outcome of his previous movie."

What more do we know about Devara?

Devara, which marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor, is directed by Acharya filmmaker Koratala Siva. The film has reportedly completed 80 percent of its shooting schedule. The film is currently scheduled to release on April 5. The film also stars Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in an important role.
