Nandamuri Kalyanram, Samyukta Menon starrer Devil gets new release date post unforeseen delay

Devil will mark Nandamuri Kalyanram's second outing to the cinemas this year after Amigos in which the actor has notably essayed a triple role.

The Nandamuri Kalyanram and Samyukta Menon led Telugu action thriller, Devil, was all set to release in theatres, November end. The film however, stood delayed, an official intimation about which, was shared by the makers of the film. Devil now finally has a new release date.

Devil gets a new release date post delay


The Nandamuri Kalyanram starrer Devil, now has a new release date. The film's original date of release was initially scheduled for the end of November. However, the release failed to materialise due to left over post-production work. With the film's post-production now wrapped, the makers of Devil have announced the film's new release date - still very much within 2023.

Devil will now be releasing in theatres on December 29. This comes as a surprising move from the makers considering it has a massive release just a week ahead of it - namely the Prabhas led Prashanth Neel directorial Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire - which is undeniably one of the most awaited films of the year. Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film notably carries music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. Harshavardhan Rameshwar recently made a mark with his work on the album for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Ranbir Kapoor led family saga, Animal.

Devil will be Nandamuri Kalyanram's second release this year


Come December end, Devil will mark its theatrical release. Prior to this, the actor featured in Telugu language action thriller, Amigos. The actor notably played a triple role in the film. Amigos featured Kalyanram in the roles of Siddharth, Manjunath Hegde and Michael - alias, Bipin Roy. The three roles were centred around the concept of doppelgangers.

As the three befriend each other, one of them lands in trouble with the government over his ties to firearms and drugs.
