Rashmika Mandanna is in the last leg of filming for what is arguably posed to be among the biggest pan-India movies of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule. With the actress' appeal increasingly turning 'pan-Indian', Rashmika recently opened up about a conundrum which she is trying her best to navigate.

Rashmika Mandanna's fans want to hear her speak

An X user recently posed a question to Rashmika about her insistence on speaking in Telugu at media events. The fan traced how speaking in English will help, even her Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada speaking fans understand her better.

Excerpts from the request read, "...you continued speaking in Telugu, which we couldn't understand. Don't you think that if you have fans in the North, they would also like to hear you speak? If you speak in English, more people will be able to understand you...Your fans want to hear you."

Rashmika Mandanna traces her dilemma

Rashmika was quick to respond to the request, sharing her dilemma when it comes to the same. The actress shared that though she tends to speak in English at public events she always has it at the back of her mind if her non-English speaking fans are being able to comprehend what she is saying. The actress concluded her response by promising to strike a better balance.

Her response read, "I try my best to talk in English so that everyone of you understand me no matter where you are from..but I am just uncomfortable with the fact that many people who want me to speak in their language will think that I am disrespectful of the language or that I don’t know the language, but- I’ll try my best."
