Saindhav has been bankrolled by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment. Both the film's first teaser and now trailer of the film have received a positive response and fans are ready to celebrate the festival of Makar Sankranti with Saindhav’s release.

Initially slated for a December 22 release, Saindhav makers decided to postpone the movie to avoid a clash with another Telugu blockbuster, Salaar: Part 1: The Ceasefire which eventually stole all screens. Venkatesh was last seen in the Bollywood film Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan which unfortunately tanked at the box office. The movie starred Salman Khan in the lead alongside Pooja Hegde, Bhumika Chawla and Jagapathi Babu.
