Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire box office day 7: Prabhas starrer breaches ₹300 crore mark in India

Salaar has breached the ₹300 crore mark at the domestic box office within a week of its release. The Prabhas film will soon breach ₹600 crore mark worldwide.

Salaar starring Prabhas hit the big screen on December 22 amid massive fanfare. The film was released in multiple languages and has drawn audiences to housefull theatres then. After a week of theatrical run, the Prashanth Neel directorial has breached the ₹300 crore mark at the domestic box office.

Salaar opened to a staggering ₹90.7 crore at the domestic box office. This was followed by the film amassing strong earnings of ₹56.35 crore and ₹62.05 crore on the second and third days, respectively. Even on subsequent days, its earnings remained impressive: ₹46.30 crore on the fourth day, ₹24.90 crore on the fifth day, and an estimated ₹17 crore on the sixth day

As per early estimates provided by Sacnilk the Prashanth Neel film raked in ₹13.50 crore on its first Thursday. This has taken the film’s overall business to a smashing ₹308.90 crore. Salaar marks Prabhas’ second outing of the year after the Om Raut directorial Adipurush which was released in July and amassed a decent business at the box office.

Prabhas’ becomes the only South star to have 3 films in ₹500 crore club worldwide 

Salaar mania has gripped not just domestic but overseas ticketing counters as well. The film’s official handle on X shared that the film has crossed ₹500 crore worldwide. They wrote, "#SalaarCeaseFire has crossed a massive ₹𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 at the worldwide box office (𝐆𝐁𝐎𝐂)." The film, directed by Prashanth Neel, has propelled Prabhas into the ₹500 crore club for the third time in his career, following the successes of Baahubali and Baahubali 2. Prabhas has become the first ever star to have achieved the feat.

Salaar starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and  Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, is directed by filmmaker Prashanth Neel, who is famously known for his films KGF Chapter 1, KGF Chapter 2 and Ugramm.
