Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT Release: Nani starrer action-thriller Surya Saturday was released on August 29. The film minted an opening of ₹8.75 crore at the domestic box office, as per early estimates reported by Sacnilk. The film is directed by Vivek Athreya who has brought the characters to life with Nani in the lead role of Surya following the opposite SJ Suryah portraying a cool cop. The movie has received mostly positive reviews from both audiences and critics, praised for its performances and music. Now, the speculations of its potential OTT release are making rounds on the internet.

Where to watch Saripodhaa Sanivaaram online?

According to the reports, Netflix has secured the streaming rights for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, though the official streaming date remains unconfirmed. Zee Telugu has acquired the television broadcasting rights. According to Filmibeat, Netflix India purchased the digital streaming rights for ₹45 crore, following the success they had with Nani's previous film, Dasara. While showing confidence in the movie's potential, Netflix agreed to stream it five weeks after its theatrical release. Depending on the film's box office performance, the streaming date will be announced, with a likely release in the first week of October. Meanwhile, the movie is performing well in theatres.

The story follows the plot of Surya, who fights against injustice on Saturday and locks horns with corrupt Inspector R Dayanand, who brutally attacks innocent people for petty reasons.

Moreover, Nani's latest film has unfortunately become a target of cybercrime. The movie has been illegally leaked online across multiple platforms. Reports indicate that Tamilrockers, Movierulz, 1337x, and various Telegram channels have made Saripodhaa Sanivaaram available for free download and streaming in HD.

This isn't the first instance of a movie being pirated. Just last month, Dhanush's Raayan also suffered a similar fate, but the Kerala cybercrime police later apprehended a member of the piracy group involved.
