SS Rajamouli Supports 'Darling' Prabhas By Watching Kalki 2898 AD On Day Of Release

Kalki 2898 AD hit the big screens today after several delays. The film starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Not just fans, peers and members of the industry too, have been waiting for the Nag Ashwin-directed sci-fi. A viral photo now shows acclaimed director SS Rajamouli outside a theatre early morning, seemingly to watch the film. 

SS Rajamouli watches Kalki 2898 AD in theatre? 

On June 27, a photo of SS Rajamouli from a movie theatre went viral. A user on X (formerly Twitter) posted the photo of the RRR director with his wife and composer MM Keeravaani. The trio could be seen standing outside a theatre. 

However, the authenticity of the photo could not be verified. It remains uncertain if they had assembled to watch Kalki 2898 AD. Nevertheless, fans have rejoiced seeing the director at the theatre and the photo is not going viral. 

SS Rajamouli’s cameo in Kalki 2898 AD reminds netizens of Baahubali

Interestingly, SS Rajamouli has a special appearance in the Nag Ashwin directorial Baahubali. A clip of the director from the film has now gone viral on social media. Fans have been sharing the video in huge amounts lauding the reunion of Prabhas with the Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. 

Along with Rajamouli, Kalki 2898 AD also has cameos of Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur and filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma. Previously, Rajamouli gave the team of Kalki 2898 AD a massive shoutout. He took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “Power packed trailer it is… It sets the right mood and tone to watch the film FDFS. ‌Amitabh ji, Darling and Deepika’s characters seem to have a lot of depth and are truly intriguing. I am still stuck on Kamal sir’s look and how he amazes as always.”
