Thandel's first glimpse featuring Naga Chaitanya is out

Thandel's teaser or first glimpse lives up to its name, providing a basic idea of what to expect from the film without divulging too many details. The over two minutes video begins with Naga Chaitanya's character walking out into the sea. It then cuts to the character being locked up in a prison in Karachi for unknown reasons. Despite the police officers' attempts to intimidate Chay's character, he does not appear to be intimidated by what they say, and even challenges them by praising India in front of them. The video concludes with a glimpse of Sai Pallavi's character, who appears to be strolling on the beach.

What is Thandel's storyline?

According to 123telugu, the film is based on a true-life incident that occurred in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, in 2018. The film will be set in a fishing community and will revolve around a love story, with some action-packed sequences. Thandel will be released in multiple languages, providing moviegoers with a diverse cinematic experience.

Naga Chaitanya on Thursday shared a new poster from Thandel and teased his look to the fans. Taking to his Instagram story, he shared a motion poster with the caption, "Thandel. Essence of Thandel Jan 5th 5pm." In the poster, Naga Chaitanya was seen dressed in a ch4eckered shirt teamed with trousers. He was also seen brandishing his weapon in the poster. Ahead of Naga's birthday on November 23, the makers shared the actor's first look from the movie.

Earlier, Naga Chaitanya had visited Srikakulam ahead of the film's announcement, interacting with local fishermen and exploring potential filming locations. Thandel is helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, marking his third collaboration with Naha Chaitanya after Premam (2016) and Savyasachi (2018). The film also marks Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's second collaboration after their 2021 hit film Love Story.
