Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD has released in cinema halls on June 27 amid much fanfare. Apart from its star-studded cast including the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, there are several cameos in the Nag Ashwin directorial as well. One featuring Vijay Deverakonda has now gone viral on social media as clips from the theatre made their way online.

In one of the leaked clips from Kalki 2898 AD, which has an epic runtime of over 3 hours, Vijay Deverakonda's mystery character can be seen engaged in a battle with Amitabh Bachchan's Ashwatthama. In the clip, Ashwatthama appears young and for it Big B has de-aged. According to hearsay online, Vijay essays the role of Arjuna. As Arjuna fires an arrow at Ashwatthama, Prabhas' character in the film saves him. The scene has gone viral and audiences can be seen hooting, shouting and showering the screens with money.

Kalki 2898 AD set to take a huge opening at the box office

Not just in South India, Kalki 2898 AD is set to take a big opening in Hindi as well. According to Box Office India, the Prabhas starrer is set open bigger that Fighter, which collected ₹20.50 crore in its opening day. As per the website, Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) is that much needed boost that was needed for the box office across the Hindi circuits.  

After Baahubali: The Conclusion, Saaho, Adipurush and Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD will establish Prabhas as the biggest star from South India, surpassing Rajinikanth. According to reports, the worldwide collections of Kalki 2898 AD may very well cross ₹200 crore on its opening day.
