Where You Can Spot Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor Shooting For RC16 In New Delhi?

Ram Charan is filming for his upcoming film with Buchi Babu Sana. Said to be a rustic, village set drama, with the RRR star in a never-seen-before avatar, RC16 shoot will soon move to the heart of India, New Delhi. The team has obtained permission to shoot for the untitled film in parts of the national capital, including the area around the Parliament.

Reportedly, the team has obtained permission to shoot for some sequences of RC16 in New Delhi's Parliament on March 4. However, they faced roadblocks regarding permission to shoot in this area. Some portions of the sports drama will also be shot around the Jama Masjid, which is again going to be a problem for the team given the ongoing month of Ramadan.

“These scenes are crucial to the sports-centric drama, and the team has already applied for the necessary permissions. They are awaiting approval from the respective authorities,” said a source. “With Ramadan underway, filming at Jama Masjid might be delayed until the end of March. Meanwhile, the shoot in Parliament is expected to take place in the upcoming schedule, which begins on March 4. Before heading to Delhi, the team will shoot in the outskirts of Hyderabad,” added the source. The makers of RC 16 kicked off its first schedule in Mysore in November last year.

Reportedly, RC16 is inspired by the remarkable life of Kodi Rammurthy Naidu, a popular athlete from Srikakulam district known for his incredible strength and accomplishments in bodybuilding and wrestling. Born in 1882, he was famous for his feats, including the ability to stop two cars with his hands and his participation in bullfighting. The film also stars Shivarajkumar and Divyenndu.

The film features music composed by AR Rahman, with production handled by Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers.
