In a major tragedy near the Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan, an old three-storey building collapsed due to torrential rain killing four pilgrims and injuring about eight. The local administration and police officials immediately rushed to the spot and the injured were admitted to the nearby Sau Shaiya hospital.

Three people are feared to be trapped inside the building. The upper side of the building with over four-five houses caved in on a slaughter house first due to heavy rain, and then the slaughter house collapsed. The rescue teams have reached the site and are hoping to complete evacuation of the situation at the earliest.

This is a developing story and more details are awaited.
