A major accident has been reported to have befallen a private tourist bus in Maharashtra's Raigad.

Accident spot is 15km away from Poladpur.

Poladpur police, a medical team from Mahabaleshwar and a local rescue team are also at the spot.

The bus was carrying employees of the Konkan Krishi Vidyapith who were going for a picnic to Mahabaleshwar.

The driver reportedly lost control near Poladpur. Approximately 35 people were in the bus.

Local residents and authorities are at the spot.


A major accident has been reported to have befallen a private tourist bus in Maharashtra's Raigad.

The bus, which is said to have been carrying at least 35-40 passengers, has reportedly fallen into a deep gorge at Ambenali Ghat in Raigad district.
