A major accident has been reported to have befallen a private tourist bus in Maharashtra's Raigad.

The bus was carrying employees of the Konkan Krishi Vidyapith who were going for a picnic to Mahabaleshwar.
The driver reportedly lost control near Poladpur. Approximately 35 people were in the bus.

The bus, which is said to have been carrying at least 35-40 passengers, has reportedly fallen into a deep gorge at Ambenali Ghat in Raigad district.
