Three new coronavirus cases in Dharavi

As many as 3,253 patients have already recovered while there are 47 active cases. Spread over 2.5 square kilometres, Dharavi is home to 6.5 lakh people.

Three new coronavirus cases were recorded in Mumbai's Dharavi area on Thursday, civic officials said. It took the tally in the area, known as Asia's largest slum, to 3,611. On Wednesday, Dharavi had reported two COVID-19 cases, whereas only one case had been recorded the day before.

As many as 3,253 patients have already recovered while there are 47 active cases. Spread over 2.5 square kilometres, Dharavi is home to 6.5 lakh people.
