As the largest democracy in the world goes to vote in less than a month, Republic Bharat in an explosive sting has exposed those who are willing to sell the country's aspirations for a sum of money. The channel conducted three stings on three different Members of Parliaments, people who are supposed to put forth 900 million Indians aspirations to the fore and engage for in it in the first pillar of democracy - the Parliament.

In the first sting operation, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) leader and Sitarmahi MP Ram Kumar Sharma was caught on camera making some sensational claims, which included demanding huge sum of money for favors, and even boasting about how he could get work done without any problems.

Moments after Republic Bharat broadcasted the sting operation concerning the RLSP leader, the top brass of his party have called him up and demanded explanation.

Following this investigation, Republic Media has learnt that RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha called up Ram Kumar Sharma and summoned him to his residence. Though, when asked to comment about the sting operation, Kushwaha stayed mum and only commented that he would like to watch the sting before coming to any conclusion.

Ram Kumar Sharma was confronted by Republic TV's senior editor Prakash Singh immediately after the sting operation was broadcasted. While the RLSP leader initially denied having said anything wrong, Republic TV's Prakash Singh made him watch the sting live on Republic Bharat, which made the RLSP leader's face go pale.

In many words, he continued to deny all his claims where he said that neither did he ask for money or accepted it. He also disowned his claim of knowing 25-30 bureaucrats with whom he deals with money. He also denied being a middleman to corporates, and said he should be allowed to contest the Lok Sabha polls.

The MP then ran from one room to other room, and even one hotel room to another, as he tried to evade the confrontation from Prakash Singh. After Singh tells him his constitutional duties, he folds his hands asks if he can leave.
