550th Prakash Purab: DSGMC organises motorcycle rally in Capital

Ahead of the 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru, a motorcycle rally began in the capital on Sunday morning. The 550th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev will take place on November 12.

'Sarbat Da Bhala' motorcycle rally on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, began from Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib till Gurudwara Dera Kar Sewa Kalandri Gate at Karnal in Haryana," the organisers of the rally Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) said.

PM Modi, President Kovind accept Capt Amarinder's invite 

The Chief Minister of Punjab took to Twitter and announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind accepted an invitation to attend the upcoming 550th Prakash Purab celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. "President of India Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi accept invite of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to attend 550th Prakash Purab celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev," the Punjab CMO tweeted on Thursday.

On this occasion, there will be big historical samagams and in order to make these samagams memorable gursangats under the leadership of Sant Balbir Singh, Seechewal are engaged in the arrangements since last year.
