8 suspected LeT terrorists arrested by Kashmir police in Sopore

Kashmir police have arrested eight individuals, suspected of belonging to the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Sopore area of J&K on Monday, September 9. The Kashmir Zone Police took to Twitter to announce the arrest claiming that the investigation is under progress. It was found out that the eight people were involved in circulating posters about terrorism. The suspects, who are part of an active terror outfit were instructed by its members, to publish the posters to intimidate the locals of the region. Their computers and other accessories used to create the posters have been seized by the police.

LeT Terrorists Arrested by Kashmir Police
The eight terrorist associates were identified to be Aijaz Mir, Omar Mir, Tawseef Najar, Imitiyaz Najar, Omar Akbar, Faizan Latief, Danish Habib, and Showkat Ahmad Mir. The Kashmir police are also investigating their involvement in the recent killings of locals in the area. The arrest comes just two days after Pakistani terrorists opened fire at four people which included a 30-month-old baby in Sopore, Dangerpora area on Friday. The terrorists were looking for a fruit merchant which led them to visit his house to search for him. The fruit merchants son and daughter were shot by the terrorists as he couldn't be found. "Both Pakistani terrorists had pistols and were speaking Punjabi, both are absconding," National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval told sources.

Indian Army Arrested LeT Terrorists
The Chinar Corps and the J&K Police addressed a news briefing on Wednesday and said that they have arrested two Pakistani terrorists. Commander of Chinar Corps, Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon presented the confession video of the two terrorists and said that it is a proof of Pakistan's intention. "Pakistan is desperate to infiltrate maximum terrorists into the Kashmir valley to disrupt peace in the Valley. On August 21, we apprehended two Pakistani nationals who are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba," Lt Gen KJS Dhillon added. He also said that Pakistan is trying to push terrorist to India's side of Line of Control (LoC).
