Aaditya Thackeray angered at Amarnath Yatra's curtailment, says 'I'm sure we have strength to purge terrorists'

Shiv Sena's Aaditya Thackeray has expressed his 'extreme anger' over the security advisory issued by the government pertaining to the threat from Pakistan backed terrorism in the valley.

Shiv Sena's Aaditya Thackeray has expressed his 'extreme anger' over the security advisory issued by the government pertaining to the threat from Pakistan backed terrorism in the valley. 

BJP's ally said that the government and Armed Forces have the strength to 'purge out terrorists' from Jammu and Kashmir without 'giving into' the threats.

Pertaining to intelligence inputs of terror threats backed by Pakistan Army and Islamabad in Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir government issued an unprecedented security advisory, considering the 'prevailing security situation' in the valley. 

The advisory comes hours after a joint press brief was held by Chinar Corps Commander Lt General KJS Dhillon and J&K DGP Dilbag Singh in Srinagar, wherein they categorically stated that Pakistan Army and Pakistan is 'desperate to disrupt' the peace in Kashmir and that there was a 'massive threat of IEDs.'

Lt General KJS Dhillon said, "Pakistan and Pakistan Army is desperate to disrupt the peace in Kashmir valley. But I can assure you that this will not be allowed to happen. Pakistan and Pakistan Army will be foiled at all cost. Nobody can disrupt peace in Kashmir valley, this is our promise."

"In the last 3 to 4 days, the very specific and confirmed intelligence reports that terrorist backed by Pakistan Army and Pakistan are trying to disrupt the Amarnath Yatra and based on that thorough search on both the routes, by a combined team of Army, CRPF and JKP carried out an extensive search on the route. For the last 3 days, these searches are going on. We have had major successes in the searches. Some IDs have been recovered, caches of ammunition, explosives, and weapons have been recovered. Pakistan Army's mine has been recovered from these searches," he added.
