Former CM of Chhattisgarh Ajit Jogi has reacted to his son Amit Jogi’s arrest on Tuesday. He has alleged that the Chhatisgarh Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, has lost his mental balance and has stopped caring about the judiciary. Commenting on his son’s arrest, the former CM said, “CM Bhupesh Baghel has lost his mental balance. He is so drunk with power that he has stopped caring about the judiciary. Three months ago Chhattisgarh HC gave a decision that allegations against Amit Jogi are false.” Ajit Jogi also termed the action against his son as malicious, while speaking to the media. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by BJP leader Sameera Paikra. The case against Amit Jogi was registered earlier this year, for furnishing false information in his election affidavit.
