Anand Mahindra meets a visiting Prince Charles; Here's what happened

Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra group, on Thursday, took to Twitter to express his delight as he joined the visiting Prince Charles for a roundtable on his ‘Sustainable Markets Council’ initiative. Charles is on a two-day visit to India, from November 13 to November 15 - his 10th official visit to India. His last visit was a joint tour with his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to Brunei, India, Singapore and Malaysia in November 2017. As per reports, Britain has been looking forward to securing a trade deal with India after leaving the European Union (EU).

Prince Charles visited the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Mausam Bhawan 

Heir to the British throne, Prince Charles had earlier visited the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Mausam Bhawan in New Delhi on Wednesday before meeting President Ram Nath Kovind. He interacted with the IMD officials and was seen leaving the weather department in a battery-operated rickshaw. He also participated in a discussion on how to strengthen disaster resilience and tackle the effects of climate change at the Indian Meteorological Department.

Prince Charles visited a Sikh Temple in Delhi to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji- the founder of Sikhism and the first of ten Sikh Gurus. Prior to his departure, he released a statement with his best wishes for the people of United Kingdom as well as the commonwealth for celebrating 550 years of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his messages. The focus of his visit to India is improving India-UK ties and challenges such as sustainability and climate change. He will also present a Commonwealth 'Points of Light' award to an Indian winner for her exemplary contribution to the field of social development that involves upliftment of disabled children, family counselling and therapy sessions.
